Since its founding in 1996, SWD (Side Wall Design) has dedicated its practice to the health and vitality of communities of all scales. Our staff covers a broad multi-disciplinary spectrum including Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, and Planning, with project teams commonly comprising elements of each. Known for generous, enriching civic design in the public and private realms, SWD’s projects are always different, but share a common approach to how they work for people – whether in a home, city, neighborhood, or workplace, we all have a need to feel connected.
